Job Summary

As a Logistics Coordinator for Dorman, you will be responsible forcoordinating multiple projects and communications in support of the Logistics Team. This is a hybrid role with the expectation to be in the office at least once per week, possibly more, as needed. Primary Duties

Oversees the transmission of Advanced Shipment Notifications (ASN's) from Freight Forwarder to both Broker and Dorman.Monitors and updates tracker spreadsheet from various web and email sources. Resolves issues and alerts responsible parties of any issues with shipment data transmissions. Creates monthly and quarterly reports to monitor ASN efficiency. Watches error rate and provides regular data to International Logistics Manager and VP, Logistics. Creates Electronic Invoices for Broker by using data from SAP and shipping documents, verifying each shipment's details against booking and creatingExcel invoice to assist customs declaration. Discovers, analyzes, and resolves issues in a timely manner and follows up where required. Verifies daily ocean billing from Freight Forwarder or ocean carrier, customs broker invoicing, and inland drayage provider invoicing.Validates rates and inputsbills into SAP system.Generates reporting for finance. Uses SAP to create deliveries, shipments, resolve issues, update shipments;creates Shipment Cost Doc#'s, monitors ASN transmissions. Supports creation and maintenance of SOP's for department, maintaining on server. Organizes record-keeping for Compliance audits andperforming ISA audits onGSP and other special programs. Performs other duties as requested.

Qualifications

Intermediate Excel skills required Solid understanding of transportation operations, terms, documentation, and concepts Understanding of Electronic Data Exchange (EDI) methods and technology SAP experience preferred

Education / Experience

HS diploma required.Some college preferred. 2+yearslogistics experience
