Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Government Property Administrator (Jr. to Mid-Level) to join our team! In this role you will get to monitor one or more standard subcontracts for property requirements to ensure that assigned personnel fully understand, comply and meet contractual requirements.

What you will do:

  • Manage government property in accordance with contract requirements, approved procedures, and government regulations

  • Assist in the development and modification of processes and procedures

  • Support property lifecycle from acquisition through receiving, tagging, utilization, maintenance, inventory, relief of stewardship, reporting, and contract closeout

  • Create and maintain records for all property accountable to the contract in the government approved property management system and maintain support documentation

  • Ensure that all property transactions are properly authorized, tracked, and reported

  • Ensure timely receipt, identification, documentation, maintenance, inventory, movement, and storage of property

  • Responsible for managing, monitoring, and tracking government property based at all locations both on and offsite

  • Assist in Managing Government property in custody of Subcontractor(s)

  • Periodically performing, recording, and reporting on physical inventories

  • Reconcile any discrepancies between the physical property and property records

  • Participates in government property related meetings

  • Provides audit support and participates in property-related audits

  • Conducts investigations and inquiries into government property management issues (i.e., Loss of government property)

  • Coordinates with other functional departments as necessary

  • Prepares or assists in the preparation of various reports

  • Assisting with shipping functions to include packing, crating, preparation of shipment, and handling of services

What We Need from You:

  • Associate Degree in Business Administration or related field (in lieu of degree additional 3 years of experience can be replaced)

  • 1-3 years of directly related property administration work experience

  • Basic knowledge of contract types, contract terms, and contract legal requirements

  • Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations Part 52.245-1

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Ability and willingness to work onsite

  • Ability and willingness to travel to perform property audits and conduct site visits when required

  • US Person

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

  • Active Secret Clearance

  • 5 years of directly related property administration work experience

  • CPPS certification

  • Knowledge of DFARS and other Agency Supplements, PIEE, and other (i.e., DCMA Guidebook for Government Contract Administration.)

  • Understanding of governmental contracts and the flow-down of applicable clauses and requirements

Salary Range:

$21.44 - $37.55
