Please note some benefits require a brief waiting period before eligibility.Position Summary: Project Managers (PM) are responsible for managing and coordinating custom commercial architectural millwork projects from post-contract administration through installation and warranty period, including all aspects of finance, quality, and efficiency.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Capable of fulfilling all duties of the Project Coordinator. Once the project is received, the PM oversees drawings to ensure they are accurate and in accordance with (1) the contract drawings and specifications; (2) Ourstandard construction methods; and (3) the Architectural Woodwork Institute (AWI) requirements. Have a strong grasp of Architectural Woodwork Institute (AWS) standards; strong understanding of raw materials and fabrication methods. Coordinates with the following: Engineering Team - to ensure that shop drawings are concise and meet expectations before being submitted to the customer and being released to Production Production Team - to ensure that quality and scheduling expectations are met and/or exceeded in the shop Delivery Team - coordinate deliveries and delivery schedules with the customer and Production to ensure the product is delivered in a timely and efficient manner Installation Team - to ensure that quality and scheduling expectations are met and/or exceeded in the field Set up and maintain a project budget and Schedule of Values pertinent to the individual project and overall billing projections for the company. Monitor costs to ensure the job is on schedule and within estimated scope budgets. Contact potential subcontractors to help complete our scopes Must be able to decipher and understand scope of work. Write Requests for Information (RFI's) to make sure the necessary information is obtained and distributed so that processes may proceed in a timely manner. Attend meetings as necessary to clarify scope or means of fabrication. Manage multiple projects at one time; therefore, strong organization skills will be needed. Assess risk against production timelines and contractor schedules. Customer Service oriented - PMs have constant interaction with customers (internal and external), other PMs and Superintendents to meet customer needs and achieve a profitable project. Ability to handle multiple tasks in a deadline orientated environment. Maintain work area, organized and orderly, ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Possess a good driving record and have the ability to visit customers in Colorado Springs, Denver, and the surrounding areas when needed. Motivate and lead a high-performing team. Qualifications Desired: Have a minimum of 5 years of Project Management experience in an architectural millwork environment to include: field measurements, reviewing shop drawings and other project management skills from handoff to project completion Able to read and understand architectural drawings and specifications; must be able to identify errors and/or omissions on the drawings and request immediate clarification.
