Universal Health Services RECEPTIONIST (FT/PT Swing) in COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado

Responsibilities

About the Position: This position is responsible for all incoming calls to the facility while providing basic clerical support to the employees. Will assist with getting visitor badges for anyone needing to be on campus. Will help with initial admission paperwork. Will take care of daily incoming and outgoing mail. Assist with releasing company vehicles to employees for general transportation and transports. Facilitates appropriate responses to emergency codes.

Screening of applications begins immediately and contnues until the positions is filled. We are looking for someone who can provide coverage for day, evening, and weekend shifts when our core receptionists need time off. Requires flexibility in scheduling. Regular Shifts Fri-Sun 11am-7:30pm.

Cedar Springs Hospital COVID-19 vaccination mandate:

In accordance with Colorado state public health order, all healthcare workers must be vaccinated, and the Company must verify vaccine status. Pursuant to this public health order, the following modes constitute as proof of vaccination:

an electronic entry in the Colorado Immunization Information System (CIIS); OR an immunization record from a licensed healthcare provider who has administered a COVID-19 vaccine to an individual who provides services for the facility or agency, specifying the vaccine administered, name and title of the person who administered the vaccine, address of the location where the vaccine was administered, and the date it was administered. A

COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card (issued by the Department of Health and Human Services Centers for Disease Control & Prevention or WHO Yellow Card) which includes name of person vaccinated, type of vaccine provided, and date last dose administered would suffice.

Exemptions

Workers may be exempt from the vaccination requirements by providing a signed exemption form indicating one of the following:

Sincerely Held Religious Beliefs Qualifying Medical Reason

  • To be eligible for an exemption based on Religious Beliefs, the worker must provide a written statement describing the worker’s sincerely held religious beliefs and how those beliefs conflict with Colorado’s August 21, 2021 Public Health Order requiring certain healthcare workers to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. The company may request supporting documentation to further evaluate the request for religious accommodation.

  • To be eligible for a Qualified Medical Reason exemption, the worker must provide a written statement signed by a physician, physician assistant, advanced practice nurse, or certified nurse midwife licensed in the State of Colorado stating that the COVID-19 vaccination for the employee, direct contractor, or support staff is medically contraindicated as described in the product labeling or authorized by the FDA. This statement should not describe the underlying medical condition or disability but should indicate the probable duration of the inability to receive the vaccine.

  • A record of signed exemption forms and statements submitted in support of the exemption request must be maintained in a confidential HR Medical file, separate from the Personnel File.

    Qualifications

    Requirements: SCHEDULE FLEXIBILITY. All shifts & Holidays. Excellent phone etiquette and ability to handle a multi-line phone system. Typing 50 wpm with knowledge of grammar, punctuation and spelling. Knowledge of general office equipment. Requires organizational, verbal, interpersonal and customer service skills, the ability to read/comprehend written instructions and follow verbal instructions. Working knowledge of software programs such as Windows, Word, Excel, etc. Ability to maintain confidentiality.

    Required: High School Diploma, 1 Year of Customer Service, 1 Year of Phone Skills

    Preferred: Previous experience working in a healthcare setting
