Schneider Electric has an opportunity for an Electomechanical Maintenance role in our Columbia, MO location for our 2nd Shift, 3rd Shift and Weekend Shift.

What do you get to do in this position?

  • Controls/Technical support for various Shift production and assembly, through troubleshooting and determining root causes for downtime events.
  • Production barrier identification and elimination for various levels of automation including welders, conveyors, automated assembly, and robotics.
  • Coordinate with production and maintenance on existing machine control modifications or installations
  • Maintain current documentation: electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics; panel layouts; PLC, operator display, operator interface, and robot programs.

  • Minimum or currently pursuing a 2 Year College Degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology or related field
  • Some experience in the Electrical field
  • Must be opened to working 2nd shift and weekends
  • Experience with Electrical, Pneumatic, and Hydraulic Systems
  • PLC programming skills
  • Electrical/Mechanical Experience
  • Ability to prepare, read and interpret written reports, instructions, procedures and guidelines
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
