Kelly Services Customer Service Representative in Columbia, South Carolina

Job Summary:

Join Kelly® Professional & Industrial as a Call Center Customer Service Professional at the largest employer in Columbia, SC. We have temp-to-hire and contract opportunities with competitive pay and a positive work environment. As a Customer Service Professional, you will be responsible for responding to customer inquiries, adjudicating claims and appeals, and ensuring accurate processing of claims. If you have excellent communication skills, strong customer service abilities, and the ability to handle confidential information, this role might be a perfect fit for you.

Job Specifications:

  • Job Type: Temp-to-hire

  • Company: Kelly® Professional & Industrial

  • Location: Columbia, SC

  • Pay Rate: $15.50 per hour

  • Shift: between 8:00am - 8pm, Monday-Friday (40 hours per week)

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer inquiries and perform research to resolve inquiries effectively.

  • Review and adjudicate claims and appeals.

  • Identify incorrectly processed claims and initiate necessary adjustments and reprocessing actions.

  • Enter claims into the system after verifying correct coding of procedures and diagnosis codes.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Minimum of 1 year of call center experience.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong customer service skills.

  • Proficient in spelling, punctuation, and grammar.

  • Basic business math proficiency.

  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
