Description

We are partnering with a local organization on a contract employment opportunity for an HR Coordinator, located in Columbia, South Carolina. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of HR functions, including administrative support, recruitment, training, and the implementation of new systems and processes.

Responsibilities:

• Process job postings and assist in the recruitment of part-time and full-time roles.

• Facilitate the interview process, including participation in interview panels.

• Oversee the onboarding process for new hires, including orientation and training.

• Develop and implement recognition and award programs to foster team building.

• Participate in the creation of new HR policies and procedures.

• Maintain accurate records using PeopleSoft HCM and People Admin systems.

• Generate official letters and other written communications as required.

• Assist in the development and delivery of training workshops, including creating PowerPoint presentations.

• Utilize Excel for various tasks, including creating and managing formulas.

• Provide general administrative support to the HR department.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.

  • Higher Education experience is a plus!

• A minimum of 3 years' experience in a HR role.

• Strong knowledge of Human Resources (HR) Administration.

• Proficiency in using PeopleSoft and PeopleSoft HCM.

• Experience in recruitment, including writing job postings and conducting interviews.

• Ability to conduct new employee orientation and training programs.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for creating reports and presentations.

• Excellent skills in preparing presentations and training materials.

• Demonstrated experience in Training & Development.

• Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
