We are currently searching for a Loan Review Analyst to work[onsite]{.underline} at our Operations Center in Columbus Grove, OH!

Under the direction of the Chief Credit Officer ("CCO"), the Loan Review Analyst is responsible for assisting management in maintaining an effective and efficient loan review system. 

Accountabilities will focus on procedures to identify, monitor, and address deviations from loan policy and prudent lending practices that could adversely impact asset quality and loan reserve requirements. 

Duties include preparing reports which documents the loan file review findings, and assesses and identifies weaknesses in loan documentation, compliance, and underwriting. * *

Primary Responsibilities:

*In-House Loan Review/Reporting:       *

  • Responsible for the reviews related to the consumer, home equity, and 1-4 family mortgage loans.
  • Responsible for preparing reports for senior management outlining the results of the file reviews including deficiencies noted in underwriting, policy compliance, and documentation.
  • Responsible for maintaining various exception and tracking reports for management.
  • Maintains a good working knowledge of the Bank's lending policies and procedures with the ability to identify deviations from these policies and procedures.
  • Ensures the commercial and other loan reviews are completed as dictated by loan policy.
  • Reports to management any findings that may have an adverse effect on the loan's collateral or a borrower's ability to repay the loan.
  • Maintains ongoing communications with bank management and lending personnel, including obtaining follow-up information on findings noted during the loan review process and tracked in report format.

* Administrative/Operations:                     *

  • Responsible for inputting and removing loans for Loan Committee portal and records the minutes from the Loan Committee meetings.
  • Keep abreast of changes in products, policies, and procedures, and attend training as needed.
  • Organizes and manages the commercial workflow requests in the loan underwriting software.
  • Works in conjunction with the Loan Assistants and Lenders to obtain the proper information to complete the loan requests and annual reviews.
  • Responsible for various administrative functions as assigned throughout the Credit Control Department.
  • Assist CCO with various credit monitoring processes including, but not limited to the monthly board and committee reports (e.g ACL, Risk Monitoring Reports, Watch List, and ARCs.
  • Performs appraisal reviews on commercial and residential properties.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Assists with floor plan checks, reviewing borrowing base reports, and completing construction reviews.

  • Assists customers (Internal and External) with resolution of problems and issues and provides support and information as requested and necessary.

     

Special requirements for the position:
