Job summary

As a Business Management Senior Associate within the Business Management team, you will primarily utilize your extensive knowledge of Asset Wealth Management and its auxiliary functions. Your contributions will be vital to Asset Wealth Management Risk Business Management projects, especially in supporting the Global Private Bank Credit Risk organization. Your duties will encompass coordinating and preparing materials for senior management, enhancing governance structures, managing risk priorities, and setting up regular communication with the Business and Risk team. You will also be expected to foster robust relationships across key support areas and oversee project management for regulatory remediation. Your role will be crucial in propelling the company's risk management strategies and initiatives.

Job Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and/ or prepare materials for senior management including Risk Committees, business reviews and periodic presentations for regulators.

  • Improve governance framework for JPMWM Risk, including preparation of materials and minutes for Regional Risk Committees, Credit Risk Forums and other LOB Risk forums

  • Manage critical risk priorities, activities and deadlines for the team

  • Drive agendas and hold leaders accountable for Risk leadership team meetings, Town Halls, etc.

  • Research and help formulate conclusions to broad risk issues

  • Provide project management for regulatory remediation for items with a cross risk management impact

  • Establish regular communication with the Business and Risk team regarding risk issues, including policy, trends, regulatory (present updates at regular forums)

  • Build strong relationships across the organization's key support areas including risk, front office, controls, compliance and legal

  • Develop management reports, provide updates and present to Senior Management

  • Support ad-hoc risk control and business management activities for GBP Risk Management, including ad-hoc analyses as requested by senior management

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 4 years of experience in Project Management or Business Management Role

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Ability to effectively summarize large amounts of complex information to deliver in concise executive level presentations

  • Flexibility with changing priorities

  • Detail oriented

  • Proactive and action oriented

  • Strong analytical skills and problem solving abilities

  • Relationship builder

  • Experience with Microsoft Office and SharePoint
