We're seeking a highly skilled Bi-Lingual AWS Architect proficient in both English and Mainland Chinese (Mandarin) to join our dynamic team! As a crucial member of our cloud infrastructure team, you'll be responsible for collaborating with the client's Chinese-based IT teams for designing, implementing, and maintaining AWS solutions. You'll be speaking with both English-speaking and Mandarin-speaking stakeholders, so fluency in both languages is a must! Key responsibilities: Communicate fluently in both English and Mandarin, facilitating stand-ups and design document reviews that may not be in English. Utilize 5+ years of extensive AWS experience with a deep understanding of Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) and Well-Architected Framework (WEF) concepts, including Security, Networking, Disaster Recovery, Identity, Monitoring/Observability, DevOps, and Governance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect, design, and implement AWS solutions tailored to meet the organization's needs. Work US hours with partial overlap (alternate between early morning and late evening hours once or twice per week) to facilitate communication and collaboration with global teams. Stay updated with the latest AWS services, features, and best practices to continuously optimize and improve the existing infrastructure. What you'll need to succeed: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Computer Science, MBA, or master's degree Communicate fluently in both English and Mandarin, facilitating stand-ups and design document reviews that may not be in English.
