JPMorgan Chase Data Governance Product - Marketing and Communications Manager in Columbus, Ohio

As a Product Marketing and Communications Manager, within our Data Governance Product team, you will create and execute integrated strategies that effectively communicate the value of a product to both product and internal customer audiences.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop clear and compelling product positioning that differentiates the data governance solutions from competitors

  • Create value propositions that resonate with target audiences, including product managers, technologists, dependent products, internal customers (data owners, information owners, data stewards, etc.), and senior management.

  • Produce engaging content for various platforms, including emails, blog posts, Confluence, newsletters, and product documentation, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and brand alignment and serve as the primary contact for all product-related communications, coordinating to ensure alignment and approval of communication materials.

  • Engage with customers to gather feedback, address concerns, and build relationships and collaborate with partners to keep them informed of communications.

  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs, market trends, and the competitive landscape, using insights to inform communication strategies and messaging, in order to promote the product's value proposition and benefits to build and foster brand loyalty and advocacy

  • Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies for product launches, updates, and outages and provide communication and marketing assistance for internal training programs related to the product

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Bachelor's degree (Computer Science/ISM/Marketing/Business/Communication) or related field and background

  • 5+ years of consumer financial services or product experience; 8+ years creating excellent content for various platforms, including emails, blogs, Confluence, newsletters, and PowerPoint

  • Influencer with great interpersonal skills that will allow you to execute and achieve alignment across a matrixed environment with a wide range of different views, job functions, and levels while displaying a sense of ownership

  • Demonstrated ability to manage tight delivery timelines, and ensure our organization is on track to execute and deliver strategic change that meets our goals

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Experience with product documentation, communications, and Jira/Align

  • Strong project management skills to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously and ensure timely delivery of marketing campaigns and product launches.

  • Experience with controls, metrics, and reporting/business intelligence solutions

  • Experience and technical knowledge of data management and governance, big data platforms, or data architecture preferred
