Developer – Enterprise Application Integration

This position in a high-performance team requires strong Integration development experience in building middleware services for Bath & Body Works. The day to day activity will involve developing and enhancing integration services and interfaces using API Led Architecture Paradigm and ETL framework leveraging Talend and Kafka integration technologies. This role is perfect for someone who loves to perform hands on work, eager to learn various integration technologies, and tackling challanges by leveraging integration expertise. The ideal candidate excels in hands on integration development and cross-functional communication.

Responsibilities:

• Delivery of API led Integration solutions supporting enhancement, project or program work by phases, iteration, or sprint by partnering with project manager or designated technical leads.

• Development, and production support of integration solution applying middleware technologies such as Talend, Kafka, and Cleo on various enterprise wide projects.

• Participate and provide inputs in designing overall Integration solution for large, complex projects by aligning with the enterprise architectures and technical leads.

• Demonstrate domain expertise in developing integration solution.

• Where warranted, lead issue resolution, gap analysis, risk or other review sessions with identified groups, internal or external.

• Participate in Integration patterns and framework discussion and assist with building Proof of Concept (POC).

Here’s what an ordinary day might look like:

1. Attend project meetings and participate in design/development discussions;

2. Hands on development of Integration solution;

3. Provide production support as needed;

4. Provide project status/updates to leadership team on a daily/weekly basis

5. Collaborate with the cross functional teams and communicate out any risks/concerns associated with the delivery of Integration solution.

Qualifications

• Strong hands on API led Interface development experience using various integration technologies such as Talend ESB/DI and Kafka.

• 3+ years of hands on experience developing interfaces using various integration technologies.

• 2+ years of development experience using Talend Data Fabric tools such as Talend Data Integration, Talend ESB, and TMC/TAC

• 2 years of Core Java skills

• Bitbucket and bitbucket pipeline experience - Nice to have

• Kafka and messaging system experience -Nice to have

• Good understanding of Integration Patterns and REST based APIs.

• Extensive knowledge and demonstrated use of Integration patterns integrating SAP, Salesforce, various databases, etc..using Talend.

• Strong experience in documenting the Interfaces Developed - in terms of design patterns used, used case and performance of the services.

• Middleware/Talend Administration Experience - Product Installation, Services Deployment and Health Monitoring, Automation of Administration Tasks in the Linux Environment are preferred.

• Strong communication skills as this role requires to collaborate with various teams across the enterprise and report out progress in terms of key initiatives.
