Sinclair Broadcast Group Newscast Director in Columbus, Ohio
ABC 6/FOX 28 is seeking a director to lead our weekend and evening newscasts.. This position works closely with newsroom producers to create clean, fast-paced newscasts, seasonal sports shows, and special projects on a daily basis.
Responsibilities:
Perform any production duties as assigned including:
Direct and TD any assigned newscasts and productions using Ross Overdrive
Studio Floor Direct and teleprompter operation
Studio Camera Operation
Supervise production crew on a daily basis
Maintain production studio and control room
Perform other tasks related to the position as assigned, which may include website contribution
Requirements:
Experience Directing using Ross Overdrive and INews
Knowledge of production standards and equipment
Ability to clearly give direction to crew while under pressure
Typing and good spelling skills necessary
Ability to read and write, college degree preferred
Strong time management skills
