Job Summary

We are currently seeking a STEM Relationship Manager . This position is located in Ohio .

Serves as relationship manager leading key Computer Science projects. Serves as a network lead for Ohio STEM Designation Site Visits. Works collaboratively with the Ohio STEM Learning Network Director and team on assigned project(s).

Responsibilities

  1. Manages key partnerships related to Computer Science education strategy, relationships with district and school leadership and supports leaders in creating plans to increase access and participation in Computer Science, and the network’s Computer Science Facilitator team.

  2. Leads the development of new content and supports that enable access and participation in Computer Science to grow across Ohio.

  3. Operationalizes project plans, deliverables, schedules, and budgets, ensuring successful execution of assigned projects and engagements. Schedules and leads meetings that facilitate the attainment of all project goals.

  4. Mobilizes resources to meet project deliverables.

  5. Facilitates sharing of STEM best practices statewide, encourages participation in network programming, and acts as a liaison to the network’s regional hubs and schools.

  6. Maintains a working knowledge of the state and national STEM landscapes including the state STEM designation process.

  7. Advances Battelle’s vision for STEM education, creating and leading programs that target client needs.

  8. Assumes responsibility for personal professional growth and development, keeping current in educational literature, research, and techniques.

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business, STEM or related field with a minimum 3 years of experience leading projects and providing strategic consulting related to STEM education.

  • Knowledge of current trends and issues in STEM and/or Computer Science education.

  • Strong communication skills.

  • Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, motivational and problem-solving skills.

  • Frequent travel to support clients and contracts (up to 30%).

Preferred Qualifications

Ideal candidate has 3+ years experience working with Computer Science Education, has worked with or within a STEM Designated School or a school with strong STEM focus, and has experience designing high quality professional learning for educators.
