Aerotek TIG Welder in Columbus, Ohio

26.00-27.00 per hour!!!!

Job Overview:

  • Candidates will be serving as a welder in a shop setting on stainless steel and aluminum.

  • Candidate will be performing TIG/MIG welding on a daily basis.

  • As a welder, employees are constantly performing various welding styles while working on steel.

  • Welders will be working with manufacturing blueprints to complete work on a daily basis.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Selecting, measuring, cutting, and joining aluminum/steel metals to specifications.

  • Interpreting specifications and blueprints accurately.

  • Determining correct gas ratios for welding purposes.

  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting as required.

  • Testing the strength of each join during and after project completion.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • 2 plus years of experience in welding position

  • 2 plus years of experience TIG/MIG Welding

  • Sound understanding of welding safety

  • Willingness to be welding certified through company

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately

  • Ability to read a tape measure accurately

Environment:

  • 1st shift or 2nd shift

  • 8-10 hour shifts

  • Welding Gear

  • Steel toe boots, jeans/work pants

  • Manufacturing Facility
