Brand new facility in Commerce calling all skilled Diesel Master Mechanics! If you have the ability to diagnose and repair all classes of heavy-duty trucks/trailers bumper to bumper with limited supervision. Have competent knowledge of diesel engine diagnostics and diagnostic tools; engine and component overhaul and repair; electrical and electronic systems diagnostics and diagnostic tools; brakes and braking systems; transmissions and drivelines; hydraulics and power lift systems we want to talk to you! Car Hauling experience and CDL A required for the higher tiered salaries.

salary: $52,000 - $83,200 per year

work hours: 11:30 AM - 8 PM

education: High School

Responsibilities

Competent knowledge of diesel engine diagnostics and diagnostic tools; some engine and component overhaul and repair; some electrical and electronic systems diagnostics and diagnostic tools; brakes and braking systems; transmissions and drivelines; can perform a quality PM inspection. Some knowledge of hydraulics and power lift systems; has the ability to diagnose and repair all classes of heavy-duty trucks/trailers bumper to bumper with limited supervision. Car Hauling experience required for the higher tiered salaries

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment

• wearing steel toe shoes

• working in a non-temperature controlled environment

• manual lifting up to 50lbs

• standing for 8 hours at one time

• working up to 3 hrs of overtime per week

Skills

• diesel mechanic (3 years of experience is preferred)

• diesel engine diagnostics (3 years of experience is preferred)

• car hauler repaird (2 years of experience is preferred)

• electronic systems diagnostics (3 years of experience is preferred)

• CDL Class A or Class B (1 year of experience is preferred)

• transmissions and drivelines (3 years of experience is preferred)

• hydraulics and power lift sys (3 years of experience is preferred)
