JOB TITLE: Truck Repair/Mechanical Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee the truck repair/mechanical department.
Manage payroll and OT for department as well as labor incentives.
Handle disciplinary actions.
Hire and fire as necessary.
Schedule employees based on service needed.
Schedule customers’ vehicles.
Ordering parts based on customer needs.
Direct communication with technicians, customers, and vendors.
Assign jobs to techs.
Adhere to all safety programs.
OTHER DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Other duties can and will arise, and candidate should be prepared to take on these challenges openly.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
High School Degree or GED.
REQUIREMENTS
Ability to work in a fast paced, demanding environment.
Mechanical experience.
Must be able to work independently and also in a team environment doing other job duties as assigned.
