Would you love to lead a growing IT team? The IT Applications Manager is part of a Global IT Team servicing SCIEX, Molecular Devices, and the Life Sciences Platform. This is a technical hands-on leadership position, and you will have the opportunity to lead a team of application developers to deliver the best enterprise applications and IT solutions. Within this dynamic environment, there are abundant opportunities for learning, engaging in exciting projects, and experiencing personal and professional growth within our team.

This position is Hybrid at our Concord, Ontario location.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Lead a team of application developers to deliver best enterprise applications and IT solutions.

• Provide project management and technical leadership and direction to team by supervising design/architectures.

• Develop the technical roadmap of projects/technologies.

• Support team in implementing continuous improvement initiatives and best practices.

• Foster a team culture focused on technical collaboration, new technologies adoption, process automation, ownership, and accountability.

• Facilitate talent development through performance management and coaching.

• Responsible for the staffing and the execution of multiple projects to ensure they are delivered on time, on budget, with good quality and meets customer needs

The essential requirements of the job include:

• 5 + years of professional experience in application development or application support, with 1 + years of experience leading a team and/or leading projects

• BS /BA degree is required.

• Experience with scripting languages, such as web service integration, PowerShell, Python or Java scripting.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Stacks such as Power Platform and Azure services
