Description We are in need of a detail-oriented Human Resources (HR) Assistant to join our team in the construction/contractor industry located in Conyers, Georgia, United States. This role involves processing employee data, conducting background checks, and ensuring data accuracy. This opportunity offers a long-term contract employment.

Responsibilities:

• Receive and input new employee information into the internal system.

• Ensure data accuracy and maintain employee records meticulously.

• Conduct background and drug screenings for potential employees.

• Utilize HRMS, ADP Workforce Now, and other tools for efficient HR management.

• Handle inquiries related to HR and resolve them in a timely manner.

• Utilize skills in auditing and customer service to ensure smooth HR operations.

• Monitor employee accounts and take appropriate actions.

• Assist with employee benefit functions.

• Use 'About Time' software for efficient timekeeping and workforce management.

• Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies. Requirements • Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now

• Familiarity with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode

• Experience with Ceridian and HRMS software

• Knowledge of About Time software for time and attendance tracking

• Proficiency in auditing processes and procedures

• Experience conducting background checks in compliance with legal regulations

• Understanding of benefit functions and administration

• Strong customer service skills and ability to handle inquiries in a professional manner

• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive data

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

• Proven record of attention to detail and analytical thinking

• Experience in a construction or contractor industry is a plus.
