You develop and deliver new product and promotional activity across a customer base.

How you will contribute

The sales associate main responsibility is to provide assistance to BDM's team members in order to achieve its sales target and growth of its assigned costumers vs AC. Additionally, is responsible for working with staff members from other departments to optimize Amex sales performance. This role supports the BDM's day to day duties such as: follow up on PO's (Purchase Orders) from customers, connect with CS&L on the delivery of those PO's, prepare weekly reports to BDM regarding PO's, POP material, merchandising material. Maintain merchandising guidelines and inventory control practices. Support and follow up with CP&A regarding promos and POS activations according company policies and procedures, additionally, maintain supplies, presentation materials, including slides and brochures. Connect with Sales Operations to provide them with feedback to elaborate reports for both BDM's and Customers. Link with finance to guarantee the right delivery of financial reports to the Amex Team.

  • Utilize sales capabilities to execute for base, NPD and promotional activity.

  • Carry out comprehensive and timely analysis of business performance for all customers in your portfolio and take corrective action to ensure delivery of agreed annual KPI’s.

  • Identify, win and maintain the maximum number of Perfect Stores in the customer base.

  • Proactively interact with field sales teams to ensure availability of stock.

  • Demonstrable track record in building strong customer and stakeholder relationships, preferably in a fast-moving consumer goods or consumer packaged goods area

  • Excellent communication and interacting skills

  • Solid knowledge about sales and negotiation processes

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Perseverance and attention to details

More about this role

  • A Bachelor’s Degree as well as fluency in Spanish and English recommended. MBA not mandatory.

  • The experience required for this positions is at least 3 years of CPG sales experience,

  • The following Knowledge would be a plus: Managing Distributors and Route To Market experience (route reengineering process, territory planner skills, pre sales and DSD Sales knowledge).
