Position Overview:

Provides direct nursing care for patients of all age/developmental stages in assigned areas using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.

This position is located at Sutter Coast Hospital, in Crescent City, California - which is 25 minutes south of the California and Oregon border, and 6.5 hours from the San Francisco Bay Area.

Job Description :

Sign on bonus of $15k (1 year of ICU RN experience required).

EDUCATION

  • Associate's in Nursing or above. Bachelor's preferred.

CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE

  • RN-Registered Nurse of California

  • BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider

  • ACLS-Advanced Cardiac Life Support

  • PALS-Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 180 Days of hire

  • EKG course completed before off of orientation

  • ECCO (essentials of Critical care orientation) completed within 365 days

  • CCRN preferred.

EXPERIENCE

  • 2 experience in a critical care setting preferred.

  • Supervisory/Charge experience helpful.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Must have demonstrated knowledge of basic nursing skills and effective English written and communication skills.

  • Must demonstrate competency in critical care ensuring and knowledge of cardiac arrhythmias.

  • Working knowledge of critical care pharmacology.

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

  • Independently practices and prioritizes multiple demands in an ever-changing environment.

  • Good interpersonal, communication (both oral and written) and teamwork skills are required.

Pay Range is $47.87 to $73.28 / hour

The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.
