The Project Manager & Planner for Key Accounts is a senior position that is the primary liaison between Zober and our biggest most demanding accounts. This person is responsible to assure all customer purchase orders are entered into our systems correctly and verified back to the customers. They also issue production orders to the job floor, along with all production planning. Customers require frequent updates that this manager must provide. The job involves all phases of the supply chain from first order to delivery.

Responsibilities

· Great customer services skills, common sense and know what to say but not too much.

· Materials management, planning and procurement, production planning

· Plan, schedule and coordinate production of the company's products

· Evaluating raw materials, people and equipment capability to ensure everything is in place for production

· Procure, plan and control the cycle of materials for an etal & electronic components manufacturer

· Manage changes in a fast paced environment including projects for new products.

· Create and understand quotes for complex electro-mechanical assemblies.

· Advise regarding procurement decisions and vendor selection for key materials.

· Exercise independent decision making, be honest, and decisive using good business acumen

· Handle production disruptions and productivity problems

· Report on the production status and any production issues to the customer & upper management

 

Experience

· 4+ years in customer service and 4 years in manufacturing

· Significant Experience in Supply chain especially planning

· Experience in a manufacturing environment (metal & electronics helpful)

 

Skills

· Very strong computer skills especially ERP/SAP, MRP and Excel, Word.

· High end Excel and ERP/SAP type skills.

· Be able to handle stress and high volume efficiently

· Strong leadership skills with ability to delegate and track progress of others.

· Strong Interpersonal skills

· Decisiveness.

· Problem-solving skills

· Time management skills

Education

· Bachelors in business or similar preferred
