Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Specialist in the construction/contractor industry, located in Cupertino, California. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing customer accounts, processing credit applications, and maintaining accurate records, among other responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently and accurately process customer credit applications

• Maintain precise records of customer credit data

• Monitor customer accounts and execute appropriate actions when necessary

• Handle high volume cash payments with precision and efficiency

• Manage and process a heavy volume of invoicing

• Conduct General Ledger entries

• Utilize Microsoft Word and Excel for various tasks

• Leverage 10 Key Skills for data entry and calculations

• Resolve customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner

• Adapt to potential use of Viewpoint system for specific tasks. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel is essential

• Must possess 10 Key Skills

• Prior experience in Accounts Receivable or similar role within the construction/contractor industry is preferred

• Ability to accurately process and record a large volume of numerical data

• Strong analytical skills to identify discrepancies or inconsistencies in financial data

• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary

• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team

• Knowledge of standard accounting principles and procedures is required

• Must have the ability to meet deadlines and manage stress effectively in high-pressure situations.
