Compass Datacenters Delivery Manager in Dallas, Texas

Compass is seeking a Delivery Manager, to join our Global Delivery team in Dallas, TX.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide transparent and unmanaged communications, escalating risks and issues requiring mitigation and/or resolution.

  • Collaborate with the Preconstruction, Development and Design Teams prior to mobilization to fully execute the due diligence, design and bidding processes to set each project up for a successful delivery.

  • Manage monthly pay application process and lead monthly project financial reviews and reporting.

  • Lead engagement and planning with the Operations team to ensure successful customer handovers, to include co-leading commissioning and closeout phase.

  • Build and maintain synergistic partnerships with our OFCI vendors and General Contractors and manage the coordination of all manufacturing, logistics, storage, deliveries, etc.

  • Manage our Construction Managers' execution of our Project Disciplines, to include Daily Logs, Photos, Infrastructure Trackers, Safety Audits and Meeting Notes.

  • Manage Contractor Contracts, POs, and Change Orders.

  • Manage weekly and monthly milestone schedule updates and develop executive project reports.

What You Need to Succeed:

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management or related, or minimum 5 years of construction management or general contractor experience.

  • Frequent, high-quality, transparent information flow and escalation is the highest priority for this role.

  • In-depth knowledge of commercial construction design, bidding and execution.

  • Cost management and forecasting knowledge.

  • Strong organization, planning, and project management skills; ability to prioritize tasks to meet requirements and deadlines.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence decisions through effective verbal and written communication, logical reasoning and the presentation of options and their implications cost, schedule, stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross functional teams, dive deep into the details, and present findings to senior management.

  • Occasional travel may be required.
