Job Description
This cook will be responsible for preparing food for associates in the Maple Hall Café at the Omni Hotels & Resorts corporate office in Dallas, TX. The goal will be to provide consistent, efficient, personalized and prompt food and beverage service to all associates while ensuring the Omni standards are being met.
This cook will work a schedule of Monday through Friday, and the hours will be around 7am to 3pm.
Responsibilities
Greet guests with a pleasant smile and superior customer service
Prep for and complete breakfast and lunch service during normal business hours
Take orders and answer any questions/ offer suggestions on menu selections
Assist with onsite meetings and events with the food & beverage set up room dining area within service standards
Maintain cleanliness of work station through the day
Complete closing duties
Assist with FOH operations on as needed basis
Qualifications
Knowledge of food and beverage service and kitchen flow
Ability to work well under pressure
Self-motivated, flexible and reliable
Honest and dependable
Great Customer service skills with positive attitude
Possible knife skills
Take direction and follow recipes
Cross trained for FOH & BOH operations
