About the role

The purpose of the Project Manager position is to support individual, multi-disciplined real estate project solutions for Industrial & Manufacturing clients, with direct accountability for project delivery. The ideal candidate will have a background working on stimulating industrial, manufacturing, packaging, or distribution facilities leading (ground up and retrofit), large site development projects.

What you’ll do

  • Serve as Subject Matter Expert on design and construction strategies for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building management systems for industrial manufacturing and food processing CGMP, projects.

  • Lead all phases of the projects including planning, scheduling, budgeting, design, construction, owner test fits, and regulatory interaction with the support of the internal facilities team, corporate real estate, and other business stakeholders.

  • Lead projects focused on manufacturing facilities which may include process manufacturing, agricultural / food science, packaging, or cGMP facilities.

  • Conduct periodic site visits to lead all aspects of the progress of construction and monitor the status of work completed during the delivery schedule.

  • Apply CBRE standards to real estate documents related to agreements, contracts, leases, work letters, project charters, surveys, and drawings.

  • Support construction and renovation projects and ensure detailed staff understands and implements safety requirements, operations, policies, and procedures.

  • Support regional project reports, stewards account-specific Key Performance Indicators, and promote overall program improvements.

  • Build relationships with clients to ensure projects are being delivered against established expectations and to explore opportunities for program improvements.

  • Identify project delivery resources from pre-qualified lists or through individual project qualification processes; conduct standard requests for proposals; complete bid analysis; recommend resources to clients.

  • Implement communication plan for meetings and written reports/meeting minutes to keep client and project resources briefed.

What you’ll need

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS/Bang/BArch) or four years of construction project management experience in lieu of degree.

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience managing construction projects related to industrial or manufacturing facilities.

  • Prior work experience managing projects related to mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC system drawings.

  • Knowledge of MS Projects, leases, contracts, and construction practices.

  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
