Description

Robert Half is currently working with a dynamic client looking for a Property Accountant. The Property Accountant should have strong proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and property-specific systems, as well as experience in accounting and property management. Major responsibilities

  • Assemble income statement and balance sheet analyses monthly for management reporting

  • Assemble monthly, quarterly and year end financial statements/reporting packages

  • Create complex account reconciliations and journal entries

  • Support reconciliation, depreciation and fixed-asset ledger

  • Coordinate and examine financial data and report it in a clear, useful manner

  • Sustain monthly payment and capital lease schedules

  • Support the implementation, maintenance and adherence to internal controls

    Requirements

  • Dependability in Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills in particular

  • 1+ year's experience in commercial real estate property accounting required

  • Multi-Location or Multi-Entity Accounting preferred

  • Super organizational skills and a detail-oriented mindset are a must

  • Experience with industry specific accounting software

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field is preferred.
