texas health Provider Compensation Consultant I in Dallas, Texas

JOB SUMMARY

The Provider Compensation Consultant I, in partnership with the Compensation Consultant II, helps client relationships to ensure business services and managers receive timely and accurate information about pay programs and practices.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE

  • Helps the client relationship, in partnership with the Compensation Consultant II, including the processes required to identify, plan, develop, document and deliver compensation services to assigned client groups.

  • Tracks and documents open issues including accountability, timeline and decisions.

  • Manages ServiceNow (SNOW) requests ensuring tracking and completion.

  • Conducts testing and prepares reports in help of compensation solutions.

  • Researches pay program exception requests and escalates for necessary approvals.

  • Reviews and approves salary offers and ad hoc salary requests within established guidelines.

  • Prepares Compensation Committee meeting materials and costing testing.

  • Helps and covers the Senior Compensation Consultant in their absence.

KEY SUCCESS FACTORS

  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) highly desirable.

  • Knowledge of compensation policies, practices and procedures.

  • Knowledge of health care industry is preferred.

  • Relationship management and conflict resolutions skills.

  • Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Excellent ability to work with and influence all levels of management.

  • Excellent data skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure and regularly reprioritize tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • EDUCATION - Bachelor's or 4 years of work experience above the minimum qualification

  • EXPERIENCE - 3 Years of Experience
