About the Role:

As Finance Manager focused on Operational Excellence within our US Advisory Finance Business Partnership team, you will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence and strategic initiatives. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, dive deep into processes, and gain a comprehensive understanding of our business. Your mission: to prepare for future leadership as a Finance Business Partner. If you’re passionate about rolling up your sleeves, learning the intricacies of CBRE’s Advisory Segment, and thinking both tactically and strategically, this role is for you.

What You’ll Do:

  1. Project Leadership:

  2. Own cross-functional and cross-geography projects within the US Advisory Finance Business Partnership team.

  3. Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and success criteria.

  4. Accountable for timely project execution, meeting milestones, and delivering results .

  5. Process Improvement:

  6. Document existing processes, identify pain points, and propose enhancements to invent & simplify.

  7. Work closely with teams to streamline workflows, eliminate inefficiencies, and enhance productivity while insisting on the highest standards.

  8. Champion continuous improvement initiatives.

  9. Training and Onboarding:

  10. Create and implement a comprehensive training and onboarding program for new team members.

  11. Ensure that all team members have a solid understanding of our processes, tools, and best practices.

  12. Foster a culture of continuous learning and curiosity.

  13. Business Acumen:

  14. Immerse yourself in our business —from top to bottom. Dive deep into our partners, operations, clients, and industry dynamics.

  15. Gain insights into how our approach to finance as a business partner enables decision-making in the areas of finance (FP&A), revenue and expense management.

  16. Prepare for a future Finance Business Partner role by mastering the intricacies of our organization, earning trust, and building strong relationships.

  17. Strategic Thinking:

  18. Zoom out beyond day-to-day task at hand. Think big, analyze trends, and drive toward long-term goals.

  19. Contribute to extended leadership discussions and provide valuable insights.

  20. Align your actions with Americas Advisory Finance’s overarching vision and principles.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5-10 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.

  • Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred.

  • Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.

  • Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department.

  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
