This role is located in Dallas or Atlanta and office presence is required 3 days weekly.

The Senior Tech Business Management role is a critical position within our organization, accountable for overseeing the team responsible for our internal HR website, HR OneStop. This site is an invaluable tool for our employees, providing readily accessible HR content and tools.

Additionally, the role includes working on projects that incorporate cutting edge tools and platforms such as ServiceNow and AskAT&T (AT&T's internal version of ChatGPT). A solid understanding of these technical concepts is imperative to equip the team for success.

The successful candidate will grasp and articulate the strategic vision behind the team's purpose, ensuring all projects align with this vision. They will use Agile methodology to effectively manage the team and deliver project outcomes.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

Team Leadership: Oversees the team responsible for the HR OneStop website, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment. Ensures all team members understand their roles and are working towards the same goals.

Technical Project Management: Works on projects that involve ServiceNow and AskAT&T, using a robust understanding of these technical concepts to guide the team towards success.

Agile Management: Utilizes Agile methodology to manage the team and project deliverables effectively. Facilitates Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

Strategic Vision: Communicates the strategic vision behind the team's purpose, ensuring all projects align with this vision.

Reporting and Analysis: Conducts regular project meetings to keep all stakeholders informed of project progress. Responsible for project tracking and analysis, preparing and presenting status reports to upper management.

Quality Assurance: Ensures adherence to quality standards throughout the project lifecycle. Reviews project deliverables to ensure they meet the set quality criteria and company standards.

Communication: Responsible for creating leadership presentation materials, planning events, and overseeing corporate-wide projects. Ensures clear and effective communication across all levels of the organization.

Technical Expertise: Provides input and expertise for key technical functions by utilizing knowledge of the business, industry, and technology. Guides the team with their deep understanding of technical concepts and industry trends.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a technical project management role, with a focus on overseeing teams and managing complex projects.

  • Proven experience with Agile methodology and its application in project management.

  • Strong understanding of the business, industry, and technology to provide technical guidance to the team.

  • Excellent communication skills, with experience in creating leadership presentation materials, planning events, and overseeing corporate-wide projects.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct project tracking and analysis, preparing and presenting status reports to upper management.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's Degree would be a plus.

  • Demonstrable experience with ServiceNow and AskAT&T (AT&T's internal version of ChatGPT) or similar technologies.

  • Highly developed problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.

  • Relevant certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) would be highly advantageous.

$94,300.00 - $158,400.00
