Robert Half Shared Services Accounting Manager in Dallas, Texas

Description We are looking for a Shared Services Accounting Manager to join our team in the real estate and property industry in Dallas, Texas. In this role, you will oversee the Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions, manage AP and AR technology, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and streamline the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes and documentation • Implement and maintain effective internal systems to safeguard company assets • Coordinate with sales tax auditors and address audit findings or recommendations • Oversee the overall P-Card administration, including recording accrual entries and maintaining procedures and training materials • Manage AP and AR technology and troubleshoot issues • Be actively involved in the day-to-day responsibilities of the team and help troubleshoot time-sensitive issues • Implement efficiencies and new systems as necessary • Supervise the AP/job cost function responsible for construction tax package preparation • Actively communicate, coordinate and collaborate with individuals and groups primarily face-to-face, but also by telephone and electronic media • Handle multiple priorities under rapidly changing circumstances and goals, including within short timelines. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field • detail oriented certification such as CPA or CMA is a plus • Proficient in Accounting Software Systems • Experience with ADP - Financial Services • Familiarity with BlackLine • Knowledge of Concur • Skilled in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning • Proficiency in Accounting Functions • Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) • Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR) • Auditing skills • Knowledge of Billing Functions • Prior experience in a managerial role within the Real Estate & Property industry is preferred • Excellent communication and leadership skills • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously • Strong understanding of financial regulations and legislation.
