Thisjob is a member of the Accounts Payable Team within the Finance Division.
Responsible for providing excellent customer service for American Airlines while processing invoices for payment while ensuring SOX compliance is maintained.
What you'll do
Performs uploads of payable items into SAP
Performs identification and validation of vendor to be paid
Performs audit of approvals to ensure compliance with Resource Approval Policy
Performs scanning and indexing of invoices and AP documents for visibility to broad user group
Responds to e-mails in group e-mail box
Performs a variety of other functions/ad-hoc projects as assigned to achieve the department/company's goals and business objectives
Reconciliation of vendor accounts
Representative of American Airlines who works closely with vendors and internal business units to resolve invoice discrepancies
Add "high volume" of emails in group e-mail box

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
- High School diploma or GED Equivalency
Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
Prior accounts payable experience
Prior customer service experience
Prior SAP experience
Skills, Licenses & Certifications
Ability to provide great customer service andmeet deadlines
Excellent attention to detail and organization skills
