Position Overview

As a Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for helping to develop and execut e comprehensive marketing plans to drive sales and increase market share in the Builder, Multifamily, and Specialty Market segments. You will work closely with the Senior Marketing Manager, Business Partners, and C ross-functional teams to understand customer needs, develop targeted marketing strategies and campaigns , and ensure the successful implementation of marketing initiatives and product launches . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing within the Builder, Multifamily, and Specialty Market s industry an d a prov en track rec ord of driving business growth. The Marketing Manager will be results-driven and oversee the marketing strategies and initiatives execution along with the day-to-day marketing responsibilities for either the Builder, Multifamily, and Specialty Market segment s of the Shaw residential business or the Home Center and Online Content segments.

  • Serve as the marketing department’s front-line communication to our sales force and clients to ensure information needed to grow our business across all market segments and product categories is delivered to the intended audiences

  • This position works from our Corporate Campus in Dalton, GA and may require at least 2 days per week in office with an option for hybrid remote scheduling

    Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic marketing plans to promote our Home Center and Online Content or Builder, Multifamily, and Specialty Market s products, targeting key customer segments and markets

  • Conduct market research to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape in the Home Center and Online Content or Builder, Multifamily, and Specialty Market s industry

  • Collaborate with product development teams to understand product features, benefits, and value propositions, and incorporate them into marketing strategies

  • Create compelling marketing campaigns and materials, including brochures, presentations, digital content, and advertising, to effectively communicate the value of our Home Center and Online Content or Builder, Multifamily, and Specialty Market brands and products

  • Manage and optimize digital marketing channels, including website, social media, email marketing, and online advertising, to generate leads and increase brand visibility

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally in the Home Center and Online Content, Builder, Multifamily, and Specialty Market s industry

  • Assist in p lan ning and execut ion of trade shows, industry events, and customer presentations t o showca se our Home Center and Online Content or Builder, Multifamily, and Specialty Market s strategies

  • Monitor and analyze marketing campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement

  • Collaborate with sales teams to develop sales enablement tools and materials that support the selling process for Builder, Multifamily, and Specialty Market s products

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and drive innovation

  • Effectively communicate marketing initiatives to internal and external audiences

  • Manage project expectation and scope with key stakeholders

  • Manage multiple projects from concept to completion to ensure timelines and budgets are met

  • Collaborate with category and channel teams, product design, graphic design, copywriters, communications team and digital platforms to lead execution against strategy and various residential teams to understand competition, target audiences, and differentiators to drive business

  • Drive brand consistency through all activities

    Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field . Or 4 + years of marketing, communications or relevant experience

  • Strong understanding of the Home Center and Online Content or Builder, Multifamily, and Specialty Market s including customer needs, trends, and competitive landscape

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to diverse audiences

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive decision-making and measure marketing effectiveness

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

    Preferred Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Marketing Manager in the Home Center and Online Content and/or Builder, Multifamily, and Specialty Market industry

  • Positive mindset with the ability to think creatively

  • Demonstrable ability for flexibility and adaptability

  • Proficient in using marketing software and tools, such as CRM systems, marketing automation platforms, and analytics tools

  • Ability to work on a team of individuals, plus work well independently

  • Knowledge in the areas of the flooring industry, consumer markets, and general business acumen
