AutoZone, Inc. Distribution Center Maintenance Technician in Danville, Illinois
SUMMARY:
Shift mechanic who is responsible to preform both scheduled services and non scheduled repairs on the Reach lifts,fork lifts, stock pickers, rider jacks,hand jacks, other wheeled powered equipment. Must have good background knowledge in DC voltage, hydraulics, operate press machine,drill press, volt meter and other power tools. Must have good reasoning skills and trouble shooting skills. Must be able to communicate both oral and written. Must be able to work unsupervised and have knowledge of safe working procedures as related to the equipment. Must know lockout/tagout procedures.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Scheduled Services
Trouble shooting and repair work
Researching, ordering, parts and updating maintenance records
REQUIREMENTS:
Level of Formal Education: A formal training program after high school.
Area of Study: Electronics and Hydraulics
Years of Experience: Three to five years.
Type of Experience: Electronics and hydraulic mechanical
Special Certifications or Technical Skills: Electrical and hydraulics Other/Preferred: Operate shop equipment
