Geisinger Program Manager - Translation Center of Excellence Geisinger Health Plan (work from home Pennsylvania) in Danville, Pennsylvania

Job Summary

Provide day-to-day oversight, including administration, implementation, supervision, communication and strategy of the Translation Center of Excellence programming. Organizes programs and activities in accordance with the mission and goals of the organization. Develops new programs or expands and manages existing programs to support the strategic direction of the organization. Implements and manages changes and interventions to ensure program goals and initiatives are achieved.

Job Duties

  • Manages assigned team members including supervision, evaluation and administrative duties.

  • Develops and manages programs to support the strategic direction of the organization.

  • Creates and manages long-term goals.

  • Develops a budget and operating plan for the program.

  • Develops an evaluation method to assess program strengths and identify areas for improvement.

  • Manages a team with a diverse array of talents and responsibilities.

  • Ensures goals are met in areas including customer satisfaction, safety, quality and team member performance.

  • Implements and manages changes and interventions to ensure project goals are achieved.

  • Produces accurate and timely reporting of program status.

  • Analyzes program risks and makes adjustments as appropriate.

  • Maintains and updates databases, tracking volume of activity and detailing services provided and outcomes to share with specific stakeholders and leadership.

  • Recommends analysis approach and additional analyses or reporting needed based on business questions, requirements, and initial analysis findings.

  • Supports relationship with third party product vendor or with IT team that developed and supports the product, partners to execute product from vision to concept while managing stakeholder input and needs.

  • Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; gathers and analyzes information; develops alternative solutions.

  • Manages external vendor partners

  • Establishes and maintains relationships across the health plan to enhance translation services and streamline product deployment.

  • Coordinates and facilitates multiple stakeholders groups

  • Responsible for current knowledgeable about the health plan industry and stay up to date on the latest trends and developments related to the program.

Work is typically performed in a remote/work from home environment. Accountable for satisfying all job specific obligations and complying with all organization policies and procedures. Position Details

Preferred experience

Experience as a project manager

Experience with translational service solutions/programs

Experience with CMS guidelines & rules

Experience leveraging Workfront for tracking of workflows

Education

Bachelor's Degree- (Required)

Experience

Minimum of 3 years-Managing people, processes, or projects (Required)

Certification(s) and License(s)
