Conagra Process Control Technician in Darien, Wisconsin
Shift: This role is 5th Shift, 6:00 AM-6:00 PM
Hourly Rate: $20.69 an hour + $1.50 shift differential

Conagra Brands in Darien, WI a local supplier of Birds Eye products, is looking for qualified individuals to fill entry level openings in the quality department for Rotating nights shift. Reporting to Team Leader Quality, You will work on-site at one of Conagra's largest manufacturing facilities with over 800 employees. You will provide leadership in implementing, and auditing of Quality Assurance policies and procedures to help ensure that the facility is meeting product and packaging specifications and food safety requirements; help gather data that may be needed for new or updated products and packaging along with continuous improvement initiatives.
Duties:
You will complete basic line checks.
You will perform food safety and quality line checks as outlined in the Quality Technician Standard Operating Procedure.
You will sample materials. Be able to grade all commodities.
You will review documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
You will close-out line documentation in correct order for management review.
You will Assist Quality Team Lead with accurate information by taking a leadership role to involve others in investigation to ensure dispositions and maintain the paperwork and files associated with nonconformances, holds and releases.
You will perform re-checks on any given hold before the shift ends.
You will communicate issues to managers, supervisors, and other leads including daily recaps.
You will offer input to improve existing quality and food safety programs and procedures. Respond and conduct Pre-ops efficiently to ensure food safety and quality.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalence, 2 years of food experience.
Appropriate attendance is required
Candidate will communicate in English (read, write, speak)
Must have solid abilities in Word, Excel.
Will work with Technicians and Management
