Job Summary:

Senior Manager, External Reporting and Technical Accounting is an integral part of the Chief Accounting Officer’s organization, based in Davidson, North Carolina, and reports to the Director, Accounting, External Reporting & Technical Accounting. The role leads our financial reporting process and has significant interface with our corporate function teams, business unit leaders, and external auditors. The role is also responsible for supporting the businesses on accounting inquiries, concluding on and documenting complex accounting issues, supporting acquisitions and other strategic transactions, as well as maintaining the Company’s accounting policies.

Where is the work:

This position is eligible for a Hybrid work schedule (3 or more days onsite a week) and will be based out of our Davidson location.

What you will do:

SEC reporting

• Manage the team and process for preparing and filing annual Form 10-K and Form 10-Qs

• Support preparation preparing supporting deliverables and presenting sections covering relevant areas

• Assist in the preparation, review and filing of quarterly earnings releases

• Coordinate with external auditors to facilitate their quarterly reviews, annual audit, and other procedures

Technical accounting and policy

• Partner with business unit and corporate function leaders to evaluate and document positions on complex accounting issues, and providing direction to accounting teams

• Maintain internal financial policies, including deploying new policies in response to changes in accounting and reporting standards, helping to ensure compliance with US GAAP

• Support the accounting for acquisitions, divestitures, and other strategic transactions

• Maintain current knowledge of accounting and reporting developments, including new FASB pronouncements and SEC rules

Consolidation and other financial reporting

• Manage team responsible for monthly consolidation, ownership of monthly close process

• Support other financial reporting requirements, such as debt offering-related filings, annual reports under Irish standards and other subsidiary reports

What you will bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or equivalent required

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably with a Big 4 firm, or similar roles in a multinational financial reporting

• CPA designation is expected

• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting required

Total compensation for this role will include a commission/incentive plan. Disclaimer: This base pay range is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, geographic location where the work is performed.
