Facility:Dayton Children's - Main CampusDepartment:Behavorial Crisis ServicesSchedule:Full timeHours:32Job Details:The Crisis Assessment Team Leader (CTL) is responsible for both direct patient care as well as clinical support and education to the Behavioral Crisis services staff that include Crisis Center, Bridge Crisis team, and Crisis Hotline. As well, the CTL will support the Manager of Crisis Services in administrative functions as indicated or assigned. The CTL will provide direct services to patients and families in the role of a Crisis Assessment or Intervention Specialist. The duties consist of care coordination, emergency behavioral health pre-screening, psychosocial assessments, crisis intervention, and referral management to patients and their families.

Administratively, the CTL will assist the Manager of Crisis Services as a clinical support and educator to the Behavioral Crisis Center team. They are responsible for assisting the Manager of Crisis Services in the screening and orienting/training of new Behavioral Crisis Center personnel. They will supervise ongoing clinical delivery, adherence to documentation and other regulatory standards, and assist with ongoing education. The Clinical Team Leader works to support the Manager of Crisis Services in the planning, organizing, developing and implementing of clinical services to patients, ensuring that services are delivered in a patient-focused manner based upon the best practices of care for children and youth in a behavioral health setting. They assist with maintaining daily operations, including staff schedules and assist with coverage in the Behavioral Crisis Center.

  • full time, 32 hours

  • Monday, Wednesday, Friday and every other weekend

  • evening shift, 4p-12:30a

  • eligible for shift differential

Education Requirements:

Masters: Counseling (Required), Masters: Social Work (Required)

Certification/License Requirements:

LISW - Licensed Independent Social Worker - Counselor, Social Worker and Marriage & Family Therapist Board, LPCC - Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor - Counselor, Social Worker and Marriage & Family Therapist Board
