We are in search of a Customer Service Representative for our team based in Dayton, Ohio, 45414-2556. This role operates within the Telecom Services industry, where you'll be addressing and resolving inquiries from both internal and external customers regarding environmental and safety compliance requests. This job offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Address and resolve inquiries from both internal and external customers regarding environmental and safety compliance requests.

• Take charge of all documentation necessary to ensure adherence to product regulations.

• Coordinate and maintain all data and documents relevant to the formulation of compliance documents.

• Maintain a reporting process for analyzing compliance request activities.

• Assist when needed in the efforts to acquire product compliance information from suppliers and maintain this information systematically.

• Exhibit excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

• Demonstrate a basic understanding of project management, with strong attention to detail and follow-through.

• Show strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

• Must be able to work independently as well as in a highly collaborative team environment.

• Show a high degree of professionalism and demonstrated ability to handle confidential information.

• Exhibit mechanical aptitude with the ability to interpret standards, specifications, procedures, drawings, etc.

• Ability to research and analyze requirements, regulations, etc. and effectively communicate the implications for the company and affected product families.

• Possess sound judgment and decision-making skills.

• Must be proactive in recommending actions or solutions to problems, consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulations, or government law.

Requirements

• Proven experience in customer service roles within the telecom services industry

• Proficient in data entry tasks with high levels of accuracy and speed

• Ability to manage email correspondence professionally and efficiently

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word

• Experience in order entry processes, ideally within a telecom services context

• Ability to schedule appointments, manage calendars, and coordinate logistics

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-oriented approach

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities

• High school diploma or equivalent education level, further education or qualifications in relevant fields will be a plus
