A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A DISPATCHER

  • Schedules all service repairs

  • Assist technicians via phone and email

  • Schedule follow-up and return visits for technicians

  • Support the Service Team by helping them achieve their monthly goals

  • Aim to exceed Schedule & Dispatch monthly goals in calls & opportunities ran

  • Assists CSR's on scheduling calls and service-related questions

  • Review service schedule for all markets periodically throughout the day to ensure the right opportunities/calls are on the appropriate technician for all markets

  • Review schedule to ensure technicians' schedule remains active by performing hourly “Schedule Maintenance”

  • Helps Maintain emergency service technician on-call schedule

  • Review weekly Opportunity Distribution Report

  • Assists with resolving customer issues by collaborating with service management on quick & correct course of action

  • Lead Invoicer for the Service & Dispatch team where you review the invoice for each service call ran and follow-up on appropriate items.

  • Maintain and organize checks turned in by service technicians

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2 - 3 years experience in a dispatch, scheduling, or customer service support role.

  • Experienced in computer-based applications, including but not limited to Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio, OneNote)

  • Working knowledge of iPads and smartphones

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Ability to work proactively and independently with limited direction

  • Ability to organize and prioritize daily tasks and projects

  • Able to work overtime and weekend hours on an occasional basis

  • Ability to pass a background check

  • Valid driver's license

WORK SCHEDULE

Monday - Friday 7:30 AM-4:30 PM.
