Job Description
The Epic Business Intelligence Developer will receive requests for new reports, report changes and incidents through analytic initiatives and our ticketing system. The position will work with customers to understand business decisions and resulting outcomes, defining requirements for data integration, reporting and analysis. They will maintain a comprehensive understanding of database relationships within Dayton Children's Epic Cogito analytics platform and other data sources. Analyst will collaborate with end users/customers for collection of business requirements, validation, training and support of reporting requests. This includes designing, testing, implementing, and documenting of the reporting process using Microsoft data stack tools. Provides primary support for the organization's patient care reporting from our Epic enterprise EHR. SQL skills are vital for this position. WFH is acceptable, but junior candidates that are not already Epic BI Developer certified would be expected to spend significant time in the office learning from our small team of experienced analysts.
