Radiance Technologies, Inc. Facility Security Officer (FSO) in DAYTON, Ohio

Radiance Technologies, a rapidly growing employee-owned company, is seeking a Facility Security Officer (FSO) to join a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team addressing the great security challenges facing our nation. The FSO will be well organized and highly motivated with relevant experience to ensure support of the full scope of program and compliance. Leadership, creativity, communication, and adaptability is highly desired within this position. The successful candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is a proven self-starter, capable of working independently and with a team. The FSO will be responsible for ensuring the facility's adherence to policies, practices, and procedures of the National Security Program Operating Manual. This is a management position.

Principle Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of the Radiance security program for the Dayton, Ohio office
  • Provides program security management of classified programs, studies, and pursuits
  • Directs all new hire in-processing, badging, security briefings, security education and training
  • Actively participates in Government security audits and yearly self-inspections across multiple programs
  • Support visitor and security protocol for external and internal engagements, symposiums, trade shows and travel of the team
  • Serves as the primary contact for the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) reviews and correspondence
  • Coordinates and interacts with Local and Corporate Radiance Management, Program Managers, Contracts, IT, Human Resources, cleared personnel, and government contacts
  • Provides prime/subcontractor security support and direction including the development and maintenance of DD form 254's and security guidance
  • Investigates security incidents and complete administrative inquiries as required
  • Interacts with senior/executive management on matters pertaining to security policy and procedures
  • Develops and maintains the site's Standard Practice and Procedures (SPP), office security policies, procedures, and practices in compliance with Government security requirements
  • Manage and assist in the accreditation of classified facilities
  • Maintains the facility's National Industrial Security System (NISS) account, ensuring all cleared FCL matters are executed and recorded in a timely fashion (e.g., FCL; Change in Key Management Personnel (KMP); Annual Self-Inspection)
  • Administers the Defense Information System for Security (DISS) and National Background Investigation Services (NBIS) accounts for all personnel actions such as: clearance initiations; visit access requests; adverse reporting; and foreign travel
  • Responsible for implementing the Insider Threat Program at the local facility
  • Serves as an Accountability Officer for all aspects of document control
  • Assures proper marking, safeguarding, and transmission of all classified materials
  • Keeps current with changes in industry requirements and FSO training
  • Conduct sensitive security briefings as required
  • Proactively manages the team's security requirements ensuring a seamless progress and minimizes interruption
  • Provide administrative and office management support as required
  • Serves as a member of the security alarm response team
