2nd Shift: 3:00pm-1:00am / Monday - Thursday

What Assembly contributes to Cardinal Health

Manufacturing is responsible for cost of production and maintenance activities including process improvement, supply chain management, quality assurance, employee safety and engagement, and environmental commitment.

Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production to put together component parts to make assemblies, sub-assemblies or completed units, using standard operating procedures. May conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Operate different types of assembly machines. Examples of machinery are: Rotary, Ram, Injection Molding, High Speed Assembly equipment.

  • Ensure good product quality.

  • Demonstrate good manufacturing practices, emphasize safety, keep work area clean.

  • Escalate any issues with product quality, machinery, or safety to technicians.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred.

  • 1-3 years related work experience and/or training, preferred.

  • Maintains appropriate licenses, training, and certifications.

  • Works on routine assignments that require some problem resolution.

  • Adheres to all quality guidelines.

  • Works under moderate degree of supervision.

  • Work typically involves regular review of output by work lead or supervisor.

  • Refers complex unusual problems to supervisor.

Pay rate: $15.75 per hour (includes shift differential)
