Your day to day

Sitting within the Campaign Marketing team on a 6 month fixed term contract, you would be responsible for supporting on all European Business 2 Business brand communications across the full IHG brand portfolio including IHG master brand, and is pivotal in bringing marketing and sales together.

Accountable for but not limited to internal and external senior stakeholder management and ensuring that all communication between brand communications and sales are up to date and on point, brand campaign sales activations to inform and engage our sales colleagues, drive awareness and performance using paid media and B2B trade publications.

You may occasionally be required to provide marketing at trade shows to generate new business, budget management and brand communications strategy and implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Marketing lead for B2B campaign marketing planning and delivery, ensuring outstanding execution.

  • Coordinate campaign budget allocations, all finance tracking, PO and invoicing.

  • Coordinate contracts, projects as well as relationships with third party agencies and suppliers.

  • Support in planning and designing show stands, hosted events, merchandising and giveaways, staff briefings and all incidentals associated with IHG’s key trade shows.

  • Own annual B2B brand communications plans and delivery through paid, owned and earned media.

  • Assist with adhoc trade advertising requirements and sales team support. Collaborate with Sales teams and Brand teams to incorporate key messaging for activity and collateral.

  • Build and maintain relationships with Sales Brand Champions to activate brand campaigns and sales incentives within the B2B space.

What we are looking for

The role would be suited to a marketer with 2-5 years experience in the B2B arena, or any related marketing or sales discipline. You are a driven self-starter, able to work on own initiative and proficient in key marketing, project and events stakeholder management skills.

Experience:

  • Fluent English (European languages an advantage).

  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills, comfortable to work independently– managing multiple senior stakeholders at one time.

  • Project management and event planning.

  • Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator would be an advantage.

  • Strong communicator and presenter.

  • Strong background in handling agencies and complex projects.

  • Confident and able to manage budgets and finance tracking.
