Caster/Investor Position Title: Caster/Investor

Location: Denton, TX

Reports To: Area Supervisor

Shift: 1st shift

Pay Grade – DI ($13.57 – $22.72)

Job Summary:

Assist in any and all of the various operations required to produce a raw casting. Operations include but are not limited to investment preparation and pour, cast preparation and pour, cast clean-up, and process/procedure documentation and systems maintenance. Maybe required to melt and cast metal ingots and to run various casting trials. Overtime is frequently required.

Job Specifications:

  • Must have excellent hand/eye coordination

  • Must have excellent balance while walking or standing on wet, slippery surfaces

  • Must be able to operate equipment, systems and tolls necessary to perform job tasks Must be able to tolerate exposure to a wide temperature range (50 – 120 degrees F)

  • Must be able to lift 30 – 80 lbs. Frequently

  • May stand 95% of the work day

  • Must be able to visually check related equipment and instrumentation for correct settings/readings

  • Must be able to wear and use necessary protective clothing and /or equipment

  • Must maintain equipment and area in a clean, safe condition

  • Must be able to work scheduled hours to include overtime
