Robert Half Accounts Payable/Admin Clerk in Denver, Colorado

Robert Half is in the process of recruiting an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk with a company in the Manufacturing field. The Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk role offers an exciting opportunity to make an indispensable contribution to the success of a company in the Manufacturing industry. Located in Denver, Colorado, the Accounts Payable Clerk will be a long-term contract / temporary to hire opening. In this progressive department, career growth and quick advancement is possible. The Accounts Payable Clerk will be expected to match and batch code invoices, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the process of verifying, logging, and mailing checks, including expediting special handling

  • Open, sort, and distribute daily department mail

  • Handle administrative tasks for the AP/Finance Department

  • Maintain proper storage of invoices, checks, and other documents by organizing, logging, scanning, and filing them

  • Complete special projects on an as-needed basis

  • Assist internal business partners with any customer services needs

  • Execute daily processes and controls accurately and in a timely manner; ensuring compliance with company policies

    Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in an A/P role preferred

  • Attention to detail and proven ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement

  • Established communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds

  • Spreadsheet and database capabilities

  • AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred

  • Knowledge of Administrative Assistance

  • Accounts Payable (AP) experience desire
