Aerotek Entry Level QC Test Technician in Denver, Colorado

Job Title: Entry Level QC Test Technician

Location: Denver, Colorado, 80216

Employment Type: Contract (3 months) with potential to enter another position after contract is up

Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Test Technician to join our team. In this role, you will assist with ingredient and finished product testing, ensuring food safety for all pet food manufactured at our Denver factory. You will work cross-functionally with various teams to maintain quality and efficiency throughout the plant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enter ingredient and finished product test results into databases.

  • Communicate laboratory results to packing, processing, and management personnel in a timely manner.

  • Serve as a release agent for the formal release program.

  • Maintain and operate all laboratory equipment, including troubleshooting and calibrating.

  • Work cross-functionally with production, packing, maintenance, and safety teams to ensure a continuous flow of quality and efficiency throughout the plant.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.

  • 1+ years of quality assurance experience in a manufacturing, production, warehouse, military, or related environment.

  • Strong understanding of food safety standards, compliance, sanitation principles, and good laboratory practices.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).

  • Knowledge of food manufacturing and continuous improvement processes.

Work Environment: This is an on-site position at our Denver factory. You will have the opportunity to cross-train and gain experience in multiple areas across QA to strengthen your skillset.
