You will be our seasoned professional supporting FADE Factory Training, Outreach and Engineering Support Efforts. In this capacity, you will be bringing your operational experience and related expertise to ongoing training and engineering activities supporting the development of FADE applications including MIST, Intelbook, Watchbox, Linx, Reports and Drive which are all gaining popularity as tools of choice for many IC and DoD intelligence analysts. You will reside at a factory location, and major focus areas will include training and materials development; software testing, help-desk support, and leveraging your operational and IC experience in direct support of software development efforts.

This position requires up to 50% travel in support of mobile training efforts to both CONUS and OCONUS locations and includes the possibility of travel to hazardous duty areas

More About the Role :

  • Bringing the experience of a seasoned intelligence professional with a training background and related experience, support factory efforts to design and develop complex technical training curriculum and materials.

  • Conduct complex training courses both at factory and CONUS/OCONUS customer locations. This includes classroom, virtual, and mobile aspects of the overall training effort

  • Contribute to the existing and future FADE training approach and the creation of related training materials

  • In an engineering support capacity, actively bring operational and analytical perspective to ongoing tools development activities. Although not all-inclusive, this can come in the form of testing, data integrity, help-desk, O&M and mission engineering support. This individual is expected to be comfortable in this capacity, with an understanding of and/or experience in agile software development processes

  • Introduce and integrate FADE tool capabilities and related multi-INT methodology to a broad range of customers and their unique mission sets. Ensure training approach addresses all levels of user, spanning a variety of different mission applications

  • Provide briefing and demonstration support to various IC and DOD customers as requested by the program. This may include community seniors and military officers

  • Research and prepare technical/user manuals

  • Create, gather, review, and analyze course evaluations to determine effectiveness of training sessions

  • Work in parallel with factory agile software development efforts to remain current with the release of new tool functionality and reflect this in training materials and classroom offerings

  • Mentor less experienced team members

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizen & Active TS/SCI clearance with recent polygraph

  • Ability and willingness to support the travel requirement of up to 50%

  • Minimum five years’ experience performing analytical work in the Intelligence Community

  • Established in at least one intelligence discipline, with a solid understanding of others

  • Prior trainer/instructor experience

  • Experienced in the creation of training materials

  • Multi-INT analytical experience

  • Experience using FADE Applications (MIST, Intelbook, Watchbox, Linx, Reports and Drive)

  • Previous experience supporting both DoD and Intelligence Community customers, to include interactions with community seniors and military officers

  • Strong organizational and administrative skills; attention to detail

  • Strong/confident oral and written communications skills

  • Proven, detail-oriented analytical and critical thinking skills

  • Ability to work with and support end users with varying levels of technical competence and analytical experience -government, military, and contractor

  • Team player with the ability to also work independently with limited supervision

These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have:

  • Prior military experience

  • Background in adult learning and/or instructional systems design

  • Formal factory FADE training

  • Familiarity with ADDIE (Instructional Design Model)

  • Experience with Madcap Flare

  • Experience using Camtasia

  • Experience creating training materials to support agile software development efforts

  • Knowledge of Geospatial Information Systems (GIS)

  • Prior experience using JIRA

  • Experience testing software

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$68,400 - 143,700 USD
