The Opportunity:

CACI's SAFFIRE team is at the forefront of developing and operating state-of-the-art of Geospatial Intelligence analysis software. The SAFFIRE team builds and maintains an exceptionally powerful platform enabling our users to address challenging real-world problems by converting disparate data into actionable information. The team is deeply passionate about its mission and takes tremendous pride in our work. We work directly with operational users to design, develop, and maintain capabilities that empower analysts to create actionable intelligence from the massive volumes of Geospatial Intelligence data to give our intel and combat organizations the decision advantage over our near-peer adversaries.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage SAFFIRE release deliveries

  • Coordinate across various program-wide release trains to ensure dependencies within releases are identified

  • Communicate to stakeholders both internal and external the status and content of releases

  • Work with product management team to establish priorities in software development release cycles

  • Leverage Agile methodologies within the current SAFFIRE Business Framework

  • Use Atlassian tool suite to document release notes and dependencies/risks across the program

  • Use Microsoft tool suite to communicate both internally and externally with stakeholders and team members

  • Managing risks and resolving challenges that impact release scope, quality, and schedules Planning release windows and cycles across portfolios, components Managing relationships working on interrelated processes

  • Communicating crucial release plans and changes Measuring and monitoring progress to achieve a timely software release within defined budgetary limits and defined quality standards Coordinating processes between different teams (possibly in various locations)

  • Communicating necessary release details to business teams Managing, planning, and negotiating release activities Initiating and overseeing progressive release processes

Qualifications:

Required:

  • 10 + years of experience as a Release Manager or 7+ years with a software engineering degree or equivalent

  • Top Secret or TS/SCI clearance required and preferably a polygraph. A polygraph is not required to start.

  • 5+ years in an Agile Development environment

Desired:

  • Experience with Atlassian tools

  • Focus on tactical and operational plans with short-to mid-term focus

  • Has experience with communicating with both internal and external customers

Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$114,600 - 252,100 USD
