GENERAL FUNCTION

Lead field operations activities within a designated region and lead a team of talented field managers, ensuring the development and implementation of efficient operations while generating a collaborative environment to meet both current and long-term organizational goals.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop teams to achieve goals & foster execution of best practices for growth of business & productive inspiring cultures.

  • Collaborate & engage field leaders & practice partners for a unified approach to the success of the business

  • Lead, mentor & inspire field team; lead through effective communication of company vision; lead effectively through change & performance management

  • Positively & professionally interact with all business partners & staff

  • Inspire team building through individual development plans to promote an environment of personal growth & accountability while leading through effective performance management to ensure goals are consistently being met or exceeded

  • Lead daily field operations in the region, interpret changes in the marketplace, generate ideas, support & lead initiatives that drive top line sales growth & company values

  • Develop & maintain an effective communication strategy for client engagement

  • Ensure proactive communication with all partners to establish & maintain strong relationships that are complimentary & consistent with company goals & strategic needs

  • Ensure properly allocated labor & resources in order to achieve expectations of clients & patients; maintain revenue goals & margins

  • Establish high standards of performance &operational excellence in accordance with company policies & procedures

  • Network, recruit & hire high caliber talent to ensure positions are filled timely for improved results & succession planning effectiveness

  • Analyze the business, develop strategies, create & deliver clear action plans that optimize results.

  • Lead & drive quality & improvement in the region to deliver on all key performance indicators & initiatives

  • Manage profits & expenses while ensuring proper usage of company funds

  • Direct & approve workforce management activities according to policies, including labor & operational initiatives

  • Ensure the protection of all company assets, policies & practices are followed consistently

  • Promote an environment of personal growth, accountability & engagement

  • Ensure all Company approved safety programs are implemented & maintained

  • Work collaboratively with internal & external teams to ensure implementation of goals & directives

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • BS/BA in related discipline or equivalent experience

  • 5+ years’ multi-unit & management experience leading a large retail team successfully

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Strong business acumen, attention to detail & time management skills

  • Demonstrated strong analytical, critical & strategic thinking with little oversight

  • Proven ability to manage multiple work streams & priorities

  • Adaptable to different management, communication & delivery styles

  • Ability to build & maintain strong working relationships

  • High level of change management capabilities

  • Skills to develop implementation plans & drive execution

  • Proven track record of hiring & retaining top talent

  • Travel 50% PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in an Ophthalmology environment

  • ABO Certification or Optical License

​Pay Range: 98,601.68 - 174,399.26

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, you may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, which complements a first-class total rewards package.
